The Hideout At Talking Rock

DLB Custom Homes, lnc and Swaback Partners, PLLC are hard at work to bring a “simpler way of life” to Talking Rock, a master-planned community in Prescott Arizona. The unique concept is a pocket neighborhood compound that consists of twelve homesites nestled in amongst the junipers of the high country landscape, adjacent to the number nine tee box–just a five-minute cart ride away from the Ranch House. The homesites will surround the neighborhood compound, which will have an agrarian heart.

The amenities will consist of a community barn, and a series of authentically well-appointed casitas for friends, family and visitors alike. Also included are community pavilions all set within an agricultural co- op, fully maintained by DLB Custom Homes.

The neighborhood compound will include active and passive recreational opportunities. The agricultural co-op will consist of orchards, seasonal fruits and vegetables, as well as herbs, and aromatic perennial plantings. The plants can be harvested and prepared by the Culinary Club within the community-cooking pavilion, or simply harvested by neighborhood residents for their own enjoyment. One might take in a movie night or listen to live music at the main-level amphitheater set within the common lawn area.

Central to the neighborhood compound will be the community barn. It will feature a game pavilion to play cards, board games, pool, or foosball. Lawn darts, horseshoes, and bocce ball can be enjoyed on the lawn. Other opportunities will include arts and craft activities, a Kids Club, as well as an ln-Studio Residence, a working studio for invited and traveling artists and artisans. The community barn will also offer neighborhood residents the opportunity to store their golf cart or electric vehicles. A series of paths and trails will link each homesite to the community barn compound.
