January 2013 – DLB Streamlines – Vendor Correspondence through direct email systems – As of Jan 1st, 2013, DLB has flipped the switch on our new Vendor E2TS system, with the implementation of dedicated email addresses to our Accounting, Estimating, Marketing and Customer Service departments/personnel.  These Distribution groups create Efficiency and Effectiveness through Time Saving systems. With such tools, the information is processed faster, the communication is real-time and the entire TEAM is proactive. The result is proficiency in our craft, built-in value for our owners and most importantly, a culture that thrives on lasting relationships through accountability and service.

December 2012 – DLB Continues on “Path to Paperless” - With the implementation of Box Sync, Wrike and Adobe Acrobat 10 we are about 80% of our goal to paperless.  With the technology of both hardware and online software, we are changing the way the construction industry conducts day to day business, through seamless communication from concept to completion.

July 2012 – DLB Custom Homes Promotes J. Adam Rainwater  - We are very proud to announce that DLB Homes has promoted J. Adam Rainwater to Project Manager and Estimator.  Adam has worked with us for the past  five years as a architectural drafter and assistant project manager.  In the past five years, Adam has demonstrated his leadership skills and has helped us deliver projects on budget and on time.  He is a valuable asset to our team, and we know he will do well in his new role as Project Manager /Estimator.

June 2012 – DLB Custom Homes, Inc and Camp Soaring Eagle come together in creation of the DLB Custom Homes, Inc – Scholarship Fund.

May 2012 – In the world of social media – DLB Custom Homes, Inc dives in head first (better late than never) with creation of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube pages/accounts.  Over the next couple of month’s we should be in full-swing, broadening our out-reach while staying connected in the virtual community.

Apr 2012 – iPhone meet DLB Custom Homes, Inc, DLB meet iPhone.  DLB embraces Apple’s iPhone 4 as new preferred communication tool.  This upgrade continues to impress through the innovation of apps.

Feb 2012 – DLB Custom Homes, Inc named in Top 3 – Custom Homebuilders (Phoenix) by Ranking Arizona 2012.  This marks our 3rd appearance in the Top 10 since 2006.  Let’s keep the tradition alive!

Oct 2011 – DLB Custom Homes, Inc launches inaugral edition of e-newsletter (IN THE DETAILS…) with huge success.  Thanks to all that contributed, without great clients, vendors and subcontractors none of it would have been possible.

Sept 2011 - DLB Custom Homes, Inc continues to gain on “paperless” – DLB committed to going 100%paperless for all field correspondence, subcontracts, purchase orders and construction documents.  With the implementation of both large and small format scanning, Adobe Acrobat 10 and digital file management we are able to be more efficient while being enviromentally conscious.

Aug 2011- We are listening!  As many of our clients have requested – we have created -DLB HOME – our full-service Maintenance Program.  Who better to work on/service your home than the original builder?  From ensuring the p-traps have water in them and changing light bulbs to re-conditioning millwork and re-paints. July 2011 – DLB Custom Homes, Inc upgrades field technology with the implementation of Motorola XOOM into Project Manager arsonal.  Continuous field updates, video conferencing, digital data storage, photos and project correspondence have been stream-lined into a tablet vs. the days of the several 4″ binders.
